Look & Sea welcome educational and Group visits to The Littlehampton Experience Exhibition.
The Littlehampton Experience Exhibition will help develop an understanding of Littlehampton’s river and sea heritage. The Exhibition highlights the development of Littlehampton’s harbour and seaside through the ages. It therefore has value for both Littlehampton and wider historical and geographical studies – from primary school through to adult education and learning.
The Exhibition has special focus on history and geography but there are plenty of opportunities for cross-curricular work with potential links to, for example, English, Drama, Art and IT.
The exhibition tells the story of Littlehampton’s seaside, harbour and river over many centuries. The Exhibition was first establish in 2003, when the Look and Sea Centre was built as part of the West Bank Regeneration Scheme and redeveloped in 2010, opened by the Duke of Norfolk and was part of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant project.
